Plant Design in Conveyor Technology

Since 1987 I have been a successful freelance state-certified engineering technician – specializing in mechanical engineering, CAD designer, subproject and project manager in plant, machine and special machine construction.

For the constructive implementation of individual projects, I have been using the 3D CAD software Autodesk® Inventor Professional 3/2D (with AutoCAD® 3/2D) since 2000. The CAD software is updated annually by a subscription contract.

In plant and pipeline construction, the following engineering, planning and design tasks were carried out: creation of P&ID schemes, layout and piping planning, steel construction planning, tank and column drawings, isometrics, supports, specifications and material lists, material inquiries, schedule tracking and documentation.

In machine and special machine construction, various development, planning and design tasks are performed depending on project specifications, including the necessary material lists and specifications, material inquiries, schedule tracking and documentation.

As part of subproject and project management, my tasks included coordinating projects with external suppliers and engineering firms, as well as personnel responsibility for the in-house planning department, including schedule tracking and documentation, followed by site supervision during installation and assembly, as well as commissioning of the plants and system components.

The project workflow is supported using MS Office – Word and Excel – and Microsoft Teams.
