Redesign of the eLearning platform “Nu.Education” for Nu. Technology.
Since January 2024, I have been leading a small design team for the redesign of the e-learning platform “Nu Education.” In my role as Senior UX/UI Designer, I work closely with developers, content creators, and stakeholders to create an intuitive and user-friendly learning environment.
The main target group for the platform redesign are students, pupils, or working professionals who want to develop their skills further or acquire new knowledge. One of the project's main goals is to create a seamless and engaging learning experience that is fun and allows users to find and complete courses efficiently. The target group also includes teachers, coaches, and education managers who want to create and publish content like tests and courses for their students or other learners. Additionally, they can view learning progress or statistics.
In this project, I held the position of UX/UI Designer and am the Senior UX/UI Designer within the UX/UI team.
Launch of the online shop “Bowl of Beauty” for Hanesyan Beauty Concept.
From March 2023 to the end of February 2024, I led the concept and development of the online shop “Bowl of Beauty” for Hanesyan Beauty Concept. As part of a small team, I played a key role in the successful e-commerce launch of the established cosmetics chain under its new brand. During this project, I took a short break to enjoy the birth of my child and the first months as a new father, which gave me fresh perspectives and motivation.
The existing customers of the beauty studio—mainly adult women with higher incomes who are willing to invest in premium skincare products—are the primary users and target group. The goal was to give this group the opportunity to buy products online and learn about them, as there was high demand beforehand and a risk of losing these customers. We also aimed to reach a wider audience through online sales, including customers who fit the target profile but don’t know the salons (e.g., those who buy skincare products in a similar price range).
Unlike my previous projects, at “Hanesyan BC” I was not only a UX/UI Designer but had full responsibility for all digital activities.
Concept and design of the user interface for the mobile app “ConcaSpace,” formerly MindfulApp, by adesso SE in cooperation with Concadora GmbH.
From March 2022 to January 2023, I worked as a UX/UI Designer on the development of the user interface for the mobile app “ConcaSpace.” The app provides leaders with a mindful break, offering meditations and mindfulness-based exercises tailored to their needs.
The primary users are executives and managers interested in mindfulness practices. The goal was to give these users an intuitive and clear interface that allows them to easily find and complete meditations in the context of their leadership role.
In this project, I was a UX Product Owner.
Redesign of the user interface for the “Vivalytic” device from Bosch Healthcare Solutions.
From February 2022 to January 2023, I worked as a UX/UI Designer on the redesign of the user interface for the “Vivalytic” device by Bosch Healthcare Solutions. Vivalytic combines various molecular diagnostic tests in a single device.
The primary users include different user groups such as lab staff like molecular biologists, molecular biology assistants, biomedical lab technicians, or hospital and clinic staff like medical assistants, MTA, or doctors who want to run rapid tests like qPCR. The goal was to offer additional test types with the redesign, speed up testing, and generally improve usability.
In this project, I was a UX/UI Manager with a strong focus on UI, serving as a link between the design and software development teams.
Concept for an app for Symphiopharm.
From October 2021 to November 2021, I worked as a UX/UI Designer on the Symphiopharm project, an app for people with mild conditions like irritable bowel syndrome or respiratory issues. The app lets users log foods and supplements to generate personalized improvement suggestions.
The target users are those taking supplements for digestive or respiratory conditions, who want to monitor their health, track progress, get information on health and medication, and receive reminders for intake.
In this small project, I served as a UX/UI Consultant.
Impulse - Development of a hospital billing audit system based on the DRG and PEPP payment systems at adesso SE.
From March 2021 to September 2021, I worked as a UX/UI Designer on the Impulse project at adesso health solutions GmbH. I was responsible for the conceptual and design development of an internal product for statutory health insurance companies. Impulse is a system for insurers to identify, estimate effort, and audit hospital bills under the DRG and PEPP reimbursement systems.
The Impulse project targets employees (social insurance clerks or caseworkers) at statutory health insurers, especially those in hospital billing audits. The goal is to process hospital bills and, ideally, save costs through adjusted coding in the reimbursement system. The software should support decisions in favor of the health insurer.
In this project, I was the UX/UI Designer in a Scrum software team and acted as the lead UX/UI Designer within the UX/UI team.
As part of the digital transformation project “QuickScan,” I worked from June 2019 to August 2019 as a UX/UI Designer. We developed a tablet app for insurance field agents that enables fast risk analysis and supports agents in their work.
The field agents need to recommend the right risk insurance to potential clients during on-site visits.
In this project, I was the sole UX/UI Designer in a five-person software development team.
As part of the “Customer Focus” program by Fiducia GAD IT AG (now Atruvia AG) for cooperative banks. I worked on multiple projects: SecureGo plus App, KSC (internal CRM system), Online Banking App, BAP (bank workplace). Focus on the SecureGo plus App.
SecureGo plus App: authorizing transactions like transfers, standing orders, direct debits, etc. The SecureGo plus App is a mobile app focused on security and protecting personal data.
Target group and goals (SecureGo plus App): existing bank customers who want to do their banking online; potential customers interested in opening an account; mobile users who appreciate the convenience of banking on smartphones or tablets; tech-savvy users who prefer digital services for financial transactions. The primary users aim to authorize transactions, whether transfers or credit card payments. Due to new legal requirements on credit card data, the focus was on making the app legally compliant while improving usability and fully redesigning it.
In this project, I worked as a UX/UI Designer in several Scrum teams, including a dedicated UX/UI team and many interdisciplinary Scrum feature teams, including the SecureGo plus App team.
Additionally, I took on other tasks in the “Customer Focus” program:
