Senior UX/UI Designer

Nu. Technology

Redesign of the eLearning platform "Nu.Education" for Nu. Technology.

Since January 2024, I have led a small design team for the redesign of the e-learning platform "Nu Education." In my role as Senior UX/UI Designer, I work closely with developers, content creators, and stakeholders to create an intuitive and user-friendly learning environment.

The main target group for the platform redesign includes students, pupils, and working professionals who want to develop their skills further or acquire new knowledge. One of the main goals of the project is to create a seamless and engaging learning experience that is enjoyable and allows users to efficiently find and complete courses. The target group also includes teachers, coaches, and education managers who want to create and publish content such as tests and courses for their students, pupils, or other learners. In addition, this role can view learning progress or statistics.

In this project, I hold the position of UX/UI Designer and serve as a Senior UX/UI Designer within the UX/UI team.

  • Conducted comprehensive user research to understand the needs and preferences of the target group
  • Developed user personas and customer journey maps
  • Created wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes to visualize the new design
  • Implemented a responsive design that works across different devices and screen sizes
  • Conducted usability testing to validate and optimize the new design's user-friendliness

Hanesyan Beauty Concept

Launch of the online shop "Bowl of Beauty" for Hanesyan Beauty Concept.

From March 2023 to the end of February 2024, I led the concept and development of the online shop "Bowl of Beauty" for Hanesyan Beauty Concept. As part of a small team, I played a key role in the successful e-commerce launch of the established cosmetics chain under a new brand. During this project, I took a short break to enjoy the birth of my child and the first months as a new father, which gave me new perspectives and motivation.

The existing customers of the beauty studio—mainly adult women with higher incomes who are willing to invest in expensive skincare products—are the primary users and also the target group. The goal was to give this group the opportunity to buy the products online and learn about them, as demand was very high beforehand and there was a risk of losing these customers. In addition, online sales were meant to achieve a wider reach. We also aimed to reach customers who belong to the target group but don’t know the beauty salons (e.g., customers who buy skincare products in a similar price range).

Unlike my previous projects, at "Hanesyan BC" I was not only a UX/UI designer but had full responsibility for all digital activities.

  • Developed a unified corporate identity for the "Bowl of Beauty" brand
  • Created graphics for various marketing campaigns, including print, online marketing, and email marketing
  • Created wireframes and a low-fidelity prototype for testing and feedback rounds
  • Developed the Shopify UI using CSS, HTML, JS, and Liquid for an aesthetic and functional interface
  • Conducted A/B testing for continuous improvement of the conversion rate
  • Led an interdisciplinary team of experts and working students
  • Tools used: Figma, Miro, Slack
  • Technologies used: Shopify, Shopify apps (including for A/B testing), CSS, HTML, JS, Liquid, Git
  • Industries: E-commerce, Beauty / Cosmetics
