Successful implementation of the CIS “Clinic Control” in a private fasting clinic. Data migration and go-live took place after several project phases with implementation of specific customer requirements, workshops and training for medical staff, admin and controlling.

In general practices of about 700 participating family doctors, a technical solution for managing and securely billing medical services is installed. Software component is a practice management system with a SQL database. Hardware is a healthcare connector, a firewall with VPN client functionality based on a CISCO router with an additional application board. Billing data is transmitted via VPN connection; the connector cannot be accessed externally but periodically connects by itself to a radius server (RMS). The technical solution is integrated into the existing infrastructure by contracted system integrators.
Support knowledge base concept
The Windows Help file contains about 5,500 entries, 200 topics and 230 web links after 3 months. Small file size, fast access via index and search. After project handover, SKB was handed over to an external service provider.
