- Designed a "Virtual Encoder" in software to track position for an open-loop system.
- Configured the Internal ADCC in Burst Average Mode to filter high-impedance photodiode noise.
- Interfaced with a PI E-870.41 driver using a custom 20kHz multiplexed pulse train.
- Developed a robust CAN Bootloader for the dual-core dsPIC33CH, enabling remote firmware updates. Solved deep-level bugs related to hardware timer conflicts, slave core fuse-bit mismatches, and CAN state management.
- Installs and integrates validated PCBs into the final laser systems, verifying all CAN, power, and I/O cabling and debugging any system-level hardware/software conflicts.
- Contributes to the development of the C++/Qt-based system control software, integrating CAN protocols to control and test all PCBs from a unified application.
