Senior Software Engineer

In my early youth I taught myself programming out of curiosity and the passion for it still exists today. Programming has never felt like work to me, but always more like a hobby that I can pursue every day. I love to get involved in new topics and, at best, to supervise and help shape projects from the very beginning.

Over the years I came in contact with several programming languages (PHP, Java, Python, C++, ...), but Typescript clearly stood out as my favorite. The type-safety but still flexible nature results in the perfect mix for me. Since Typescript can be used in the frontend and backend, you always benefit directly for both "ends".

In 2020 I came in contact with Serverless (AWS) for the first time and since then I am excited about the speed with which you can deploy a new application; so excited that I myself set up all my private projects in the AWS environment.

I prefer working in agile teams that are results-driven. The whole team should pull together and want to achieve the common goal. I fit in super in teams where humor is not a foreign word and you can make the one or other jokes. Whether German or English is spoken here makes no difference to me.
