During my tenure, I was responsible for the comprehensive prevention, auditing, and management of system-level vulnerabilities within the infrastructure of the German division. I oversaw operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, and databases, planning migrations ahead of lifecycle or support expiration, and strategically coordinating upgrades to prevent obsolescence and ensure uninterrupted services. I also provided monthly vulnerability status presentations to management with improvement proposals, conducted rigorous security audits, and ensured infrastructure device compliance with company standards.

As a key achievement, I designed and implemented strategies to analyze and enhance system vulnerabilities, creating a comprehensive workflow for remediation, patching, and future planning, which significantly reduced vulnerabilities through a structured patching process.

I managed technical debt by ensuring operating systems, databases, and middleware applications stayed updated per compliance policies, mitigating risks of unsupported software. Additionally, I audited hardware using Cormant’s CableSolve for accurate data center inventories and software assets via ServiceNow, improving record precision and implementing preventive corrections.

Lastly, I served as the subject matter expert (SME) for the primion time-tracking system, handling its implementation, maintenance, and migration during a domain switch, while managing budgets, vendor negotiations, and collaboration with HR for seamless operations. I also held technical responsibility for monitoring working hours applications and presented monthly vulnerability updates to management with actionable insights.
