Summary

I have more than 35 years’ experience in the banking industry across Wholesale Corporate Banking, Retail Banking, Islamic Banking, Capital Markets and Fund Management domains. I have been involved in numerous banking system implementations as Program Manager, Enterprise Architect, Business Analyst and Technical Consultant. I have been largely responsible for early design and legacy replacement planning to ensure that full infrastructure cover is maintained before, during and after implementation.

I have an excellent knowledge of Transaction Accounting, Treasury, Securities, Lending, Branch Activities and General Ledger, including all levels of internal and external reporting requirements. Skill in Application Architecture and in the use of Channels supported by SOA utilities to support the financial industry’s need for E2E processes with little or no user intervention while performing straight-through-processing from Channel to Reporting.

As a former Director of Operations for a medium-sized international bank in London, I have applied this experience to assist clients in the redesign of entire processes and in the selection of vendors for system implementations. In several cases I have been a driving force in identifying, reviewing, selecting, negotiating and managing the transition to managed outsourced services. Currently I am responsible for project planning, project management and program monitoring across the Middle East region.
