Description

An organization is looking for an experienced Full-Stack developer (m/f/d) focusing on Java Enterprise Edition (JEE), Vaadin/Linkki and Faktor-IOS. The main focus of the project is troubleshooting and production support based on Faktor-IOS. The developer will work closely with business units and IT teams to analyze and fix production bugs. Additional skills in developing web UIs and backend components are required to successfully carry out the tasks.

Main tasks:

  • Main focus: troubleshooting and production support based on Faktor-IOS
  • Developing web UIs with Vaadin and Linkki
  • Developing and maintaining backend components with Java Enterprise Edition (JEE)
  • Collaborating with business units and IT teams to analyze and resolve production bugs
  • Conducting code reviews, automated tests and quality assurance measures

Requirements

  • Several years of development experience with Java EE / JEE

  • Mandatory experience with Faktor-IOS – Very important, as this developer will primarily be used in production support and therefore needs strong IOS knowledge

  • Very good understanding of insurance processes and products

  • Hands-on experience with Vaadin and ideally Linkki

  • Solid knowledge working with Oracle databases (SQL, PL/SQL)

  • Confident use of Maven as a build tool

  • Analytical mindset, structured work style and ability to work in a team

  • Experience in agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban)

  • Knowledge of interface development (REST, SOAP)

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git)
