Description
Coordination of meetings and workshops as well as documentation and follow-up of project deliverables by the finance department
Creation of presentations and decision papers for management and relevant committees
Monitoring of risks, impediments, dependencies, and open issues, plus follow-up within project tracking
Analysis and advice on defining new, need-based requirements and optimization measures based on the business models for the finance department
Development of solution concepts for process optimizations in the existing value chain as well as planning and managing implementation within transformation projects
Independent handling of complex, partly novel topics in the finance area, especially concerning process optimization and implementation design
Identification and development of optimization potentials to increase information quality and granularity in target systems, involving finance subject matter experts
Steering requirements in transformation initiatives and conducting tracking
Development and further development of quality measures within the value chain, considering business transactions, reporting requirements, and their optimization potentials
Requirements
Professional Expertise
Deep knowledge of finance processes, especially in optimizing and transforming end-to-end value chains
Experience in designing and implementing process optimizations and digitization initiatives in the finance area
Solid understanding of business contexts and financial metrics
Experience in creating management documents, decision papers, and committee communication
Project Management & Control
Experience coordinating workshops, stakeholder management, and tracking deliverables
Proficient in managing transformation initiatives including requirements management, tracking, and risk management
Knowledge of traditional and agile methods (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall)
Analytical & Methodical Skills
Strong ability to identify and implement optimization potentials in data and process structures
Experience specifying requirements and deriving concrete measures for implementation in systems and processes
Routine in developing KPIs, reporting structures, and quality measures
Personal Competencies
High level of self-responsibility, conceptual strength, and focus on implementation
Very good communication skills at all hierarchy levels, especially when dealing with management and cross-functional teams
