The NetOptimizer (U-1799) is an in-house development tool for analyzing, optimizing, and simulating the transport network with over 500+ users.
The goal of this project is to develop new features and extend existing ones. The NetOptimizer should be future-proof and further developed according to the latest standards.
The successor project to NetEdison will start as soon as the current RFQ is completed. The project is planned until the end of 2027.
The following features are on the roadmap until 2027, among others:
Introduction of user management for all users
Real-time topology updates
Extension of the analysis module (visualization and routing analyses of E2E services, daily reporting for the entire network, alarm integration, enhancement of anomaly detection, etc.)
Extension of the simulation module (expansion for access, E2E services, documentation and output of simulations, simulation and latency, SecGW changes, CORE network simulation, simulation with planned data, special events simulation, subnet simulation, propagation in connected topologies, editing edges and nodes, simulation comparisons, inclusion of forecast traffic data in the simulation module, etc.)
Extension of NetMonkey
Extension of the annealer/optimization module
Automation (APIs, interactive interface, automated tasks), workflow engine for the NetOptimizer, network analysis and simulation, automated network configuration
Predictive network analysis
Extension of NetAgent/AI
