An enterprise is looking for an experienced expert in structural monitoring who ensures the safety of dam structures and checks the quality of measurement data. The goal of the project is to optimize structural monitoring through professional data analysis, supplier coordination, and staff training.
The expert will play a key role in reviewing and maintaining measurement data as well as coordinating ad-hoc inspections and control tests. They will also be responsible for expanding the measurement network and optimizing existing tools.
Main tasks:
- Professional review of structural monitoring measurement data (data quality, completeness, outliers)
- Initiation and execution of ad-hoc inspections/control tests for unusual readings
- Coordination of external suppliers to replace or exchange defective level probes
- Checking individual maintenance intervals of measuring devices/systems and handing over results to the client
- Coordination of suppliers to expand the measurement network by providing electric probes
- Maintenance of measurement and control programs regarding measurement technology and control cycles
- Providing necessary SAS structural information for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintenance and optimization of existing tools (Webviewer, DamCo, WISKI database)
- Planning and conducting about 10 online training sessions on the tools
- Technical consulting for special inspections of individual structures
