Final Year Project – ECG Delineation

Implemented an Adaptive Trend Filtering (AdapTF) algorithm for automatic ECG wave boundary detection.
Validated results on the QT Database against cardiologist annotations, achieving over 91% accuracy in identifying P, QRS and T wave features.
Conducted parameter experiments and demonstrated potential for integration into clinical signal processing systems.

VHDL Project – Real-Time Distance Measurement

Developed a distance measurement system using VHDL on an Altium Designer FPGA (DE0 board) integrated with an ultrasonic sensor (HC-SR04).
Calculated object distance in real time, displayed readings on seven segment displays and adjusted a speaker’s frequency based on measured distance.
Verified functionality through ModelSim simulations, oscilloscope testing and hardware implementation.
