Description
As a (Senior) Scrum Master, you will actively advise and support three product development teams for the digital customer platform, focusing on team performance using the Scrum framework with the following focus:
- The three product development teams already have a very high level of maturity in applying the Scrum framework. The needs of the teams can therefore vary greatly depending on the team and context. You need to bring a keen sense and empathy to support each team accordingly
- Synergies between the teams should be promoted and strengthened
- Sharing best practices and advising on collaboration is desired
- Conduct thematic workshops on request
- The teams’ self-organization should be maintained and further developed when needed
- Team agreements/team identity should be critically reviewed at regular intervals on request
- In case of personnel changes, the Scrum Master should ensure that all (new) team members understand and live the agile values. Personnel changes and the resulting transition phases should be closely accompanied within the teams. Team-forming processes should be actively shaped
- Actively uncover, moderate, and de-escalate team conflicts
- Strengthen quality awareness within the teams if needed
- Improve measurability of work progress
- Support interdisciplinary collaboration within the department and with stakeholders in a meaningful way
General:
- Establish (where needed) and further develop the Scrum processes
- Coach and mentor devs, POs, and UX on emerging impediments
- Further develop the product development teams and guide them through uncertainties during the upcoming organizational transformation
- Identify, name, and address obstacles in the development team to resolve them sustainably
- Maintain the impediment backlog
- Facilitate Scrum events if desired
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a Scrum Master with significant hands-on experience from numerous projects
- Experience handling multiple parallel Scrum teams as well as coordinating teams with different working methods (Scrum & Kanban)
- Benchmark know-how from other (logistics) companies
- Experience introducing and further developing agile methods in newly formed development teams
- Experience applying and coaching agile methods in a corporate environment
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence
