Description
- Analysis and consulting on the specification of new, need-based requirements and optimization measures based on business models for the procurement-to-pay area
- Creation of solution concepts for process optimizations along the existing value chain
- Project-relevant planning of implementation in transformation projects or project initiatives
- Development of an end-to-end process view considering preceding processes, upstream systems and interfaces
- Integration of accounting-relevant requirements according to IFRS and HGB in close coordination with the respective responsible areas
- Development of optimization potentials with the goal of increasing the quality and granularity of input data in the target systems
- Definition and tracking of requirements within the respective transformation initiatives
- Development and further development of quality measures along the P2P value chain
- Focus on relevant business transactions, reporting requirements and their optimization
- Creation of control aspects to ensure the completeness and correctness of finance-relevant migration objects
- Both in the conceptual phase and during migration execution
- Content validation of key topics with business units inside and outside the purchase-to-pay area
- Clarification of dependencies with other Telefonica projects, e.g., FUEL
- Preparation of decision-relevant information for management
Requirements
Technical Expertise
- Deep knowledge of procurement-to-pay processes, ideally in a corporate environment and in connection with transformation projects
- Experience in optimizing and digitizing P2P value chains
- Familiar with accounting-relevant requirements according to IFRS & HGB in a purchasing context (e.g., provisions, service allocation, accruals)
- Experience in deriving strategically relevant requirements from business models and operational processes
System and Migration Know-how
- Familiar with SAP S/4HANA in the P2P context (e.g., MM, Ariba, FI-AP)
- Experience in specifying and quality-assuring finance-relevant migration objects
- Ability to define and implement control mechanisms in transformation projects
End-to-End and Interface Competence
- Ability to create and evaluate complete process chains considering upstream and downstream systems
- Experience working with complex data flows and cross-process system architectures
- Clear view of critical dependencies and system integrity in conjunction with projects like FUEL
Quality and Reporting Focus
- Experience in developing company-wide quality measures along the value chain
- Ability to derive optimization potentials in data quality, reporting capability and process compliance
- Confident in creating management reports, status overviews and decision-making foundations
