An organization is looking for an experienced expert in structural monitoring to ensure dam safety and verify the quality of measurement data. The goal of the project is to optimize structural monitoring through professional data analysis, supplier coordination, and staff training.
The expert will play a key role in reviewing and maintaining measurement data, as well as coordinating ad-hoc inspections and control tests. They will also be responsible for expanding the measurement network and optimizing existing tools.
Main tasks:
- Professionally review structural monitoring measurement data (data quality, completeness, outliers)
- Initiate and carry out ad-hoc inspections/control tests for unusual measurements
- Coordinate external suppliers to replace faulty or outdated level sensors
- Check maintenance intervals for measuring devices/systems and report results to the client
- Coordinate suppliers to expand the measurement network by adding electric probes
- Maintain measurement and control programs regarding metrology and inspection cycles
- Provide necessary SAS structural information for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain and optimize the use of existing tools (Webviewer, DamCo, WISKI database)
- Plan and conduct about 10 online trainings on the tools
- Provide technical advice for special inspections of individual structures
