Description
Negotiations - You will conduct contract negotiations with customers at home and abroad together with a sales engineer, bringing the sale of our products up to signing maturity
Independence/Responsibility - You are independently responsible for handling offers and commenting on the commercial part of contracts
Teamwork - You work in a team with business economists, commercial specialists and lawyers
Coordination - Responsible for clarifications on credit checks, foreign trade issues, manufacturing and export risks, payment securities, as well as insurance matters and financing
Risk Assessment - Assessing and allocating risks in coordination with the legal, tax and finance departments
Managing the Offer Process - You prepare and review the commercial part of inquiries and offers
Coordinating the Application Process - Preparing application documents for board approval and handling the application process
Advisory Role - Advising sales engineers and segment managers on all contract and commercial matters
Project Execution Contact - Acting as the commercial project management contact for complex contract-related issues during project execution
Mentoring - Optionally serving as a mentor for our local contract managers in the regions
Requirements
You have a business degree focused on business law or a degree in business law studies (alternatively, a commercial apprenticeship as an industrial or foreign trade clerk with many years of relevant professional experience)
You are passionate about contract law topics and work independently and proactively
You have at least 5 years of professional experience in contract law, commercial and legal contract review and negotiation in export business, preferably in mechanical and plant engineering
You have experience handling commercial offers, strong customer orientation, creativity, negotiation skills and persuasiveness
You have quick comprehension, are well organized, have sound judgment and possess effective, recipient-oriented communication skills
