As Chief Operating Officer you are responsible for the further development and implementation of the business strategy in logistics and internal services.
You analyze structures and processes, including in an international comparison, and derive forward-looking measures along the entire plant value chain, whose implementation you manage effectively and with focus on results.
You keep an eye on digitalization aspects as well as on motivating and engaging employees and managers.
As part of the management team, you set standards and ensure a success- and future-oriented alignment of all resources through consistent KPI management and constructive collaboration with all management levels and stakeholders.
Tasks:
- As ambitious head of the largest operational unit, you manage and develop an efficient organizational and process structure + You ensure smooth goods receipt, storage, and picking as well as on-time delivery to our customers + You are also responsible for consistently meeting agreed targets and operational standards + You diligently ensure compliance with the set budget – you succeed in reducing costs and further optimizing quality + You take on the direct technical and disciplinary leadership of employees for the logistics center and building services/facility management + As part of quality management, operational excellence, and lean management, you implement various measures for the efficient and resource-saving use of personnel, equipment, etc. + All regulations on workplace safety/protection and proper handling of products/items and work equipment are observed + You are responsible for inventory management and the execution of stocktaking and audits.
