Description
A telecommunications company is currently building its own 5G network continuously, independent from other and previously used networks. For the 5G migration project, an experienced consultant in backend development and further development of existing system landscapes is needed temporarily. It is essential that the consultant works independently along the system landscapes at IQ-optimize and the existing systems, since data is exchanged with these systems. Backend development is mainly done in the C# programming language, focusing on secure development and high availability. There are connections to payment systems and various web shops.
The goal of the project is the functional migration of customers into the own network and should be implemented by the consultant. The consultant carries out this goal independently, after coordination with the relevant business partners and departments. Performance and reliability/availability should not fall short of the previous process.
- The consultant independently takes over the further development and optimization of the internal CRM and workflow management systems using C#, SQL and technologies such as RESTful and SOAP web services. This includes work in all typical phases of the software development cycle, including architectural decisions.
- Integration of new interfaces and optimization of existing interfaces
- Performance optimization of data processing and databases
- Development and implementation of new frontend features in intranet applications
- Implementation of best practices to improve code quality and maintainability
- Development and implementation of tests to ensure functionality and performance
- Conducting regular code reviews and providing feedback to the development team
- Creation of detailed technical documentation of the developed and optimized systems
- Training and handover of documentation to the internal team
Requirements
- University degree in computer science or equivalent education and relevant professional experience
- Excellent knowledge of C#, SQL and relevant technologies like RESTful and SOAP web services
- Knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap or CSS
- Confident handling of large data volumes and experience in performance optimization
- An effective work style with a high quality standard for deliverables
- Since the documentation and business language is German, very good German skills are required
- For the start of the assignment, a high on-site presence in Maintal should be guaranteed. Afterwards, up to 100% remote work is possible. Regular coordination meetings on site must be attended as needed.
