Description
The program includes reducing the current about 140 core locations to about 60 by the end of 2024. The locations are spread across Germany. Due to the large number of sites, the program is divided into streams by region.
The main task of the project managers in each stream is to identify the platforms and applications (using inventory lists) and then coordinate the site decommissioning, for example by moving to nearby sites (site consolidation) or uninstalling the equipment. This requires close collaboration with the owners (project team). The project management takes on a package of sites predetermined by the program management, which are either completely dismantled, reduced to a certain number of rooms, or handed over to another technology area. In some cases, on-site appointments at the respective locations are required.
