Description

The service shall cover consulting, customizing, programming, support in implementations, and carrying out updates/upgrades for the modules mentioned above, in particular:

  • Support services in the existing SAP system:
  • Support with occurring errors or problems (developing problem solutions), including error correction and documentation
  • Support in conducting training for key users and end users
  • Technical and functional support when applying support packages
  • General functional and technical consulting services in the SAP environment
  • Support in preparing feasibility studies in the SAP environment
  • Support in system analysis, e.g. to identify optimization potentials, including analysis of master and transaction data
  • Adaptation and go-live of new functions
  • Ongoing adjustments to legal, collective bargaining, and software-technical changes
  • Analysis and coordination of requirements in direct contact with clients
  • Support for SAP upgrades
  • Documentation of changes and adjustments made, including specifying required authorizations
  • Execution and documentation of test runs and evaluation of test results using the SAP Solution Manager
  • Support in the further development of the mentioned modules, including go-live of new functions, taking into account integration requirements, including appropriate documentation
  • Additional support services, training, supplementary consulting in the SAP environment, etc.
  • Support in project management during the implementation of the services listed
  • Identifying and documenting interface issues, including breaking down one or more solution approaches and presenting their pros and cons
  • Indications of important insights arising from service delivery, especially regarding specific risks from service execution, the current system status, or other causes. Notes on obvious system optimization opportunities or important side effects resulting from service delivery, e.g. during upgrades. These notes should be concise and to the point
  • Consulting on the technology switch to S/4HANA.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of NetWeaver technology and other SAP components,
  • Several years of practical experience in configuring, customizing, operating, and maintaining the SAP logistics modules,
  • Solid methodological knowledge, as well as knowledge and experience in setting up, adapting, and applying business processes in logistics, especially in the specified SAP components:
  • Materials Management (MM),
  • Sales and Distribution (SD),
  • Extended Warehouse Management (eWM),
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM),
  • Master Data Management (MDM),
  • Plant Maintenance (PM)
  • Knowledge/experience in programming for customer-specific reports,
  • Verification of the required functional processes,
  • Knowledge/experience in error debugging,
