Description
You need to have a deep understanding of the company's business and the impact of user experience on the business.
You will lead UX design strategy efforts from research to ideation, be directly responsible for design strategy and information architecture issues across the full lifecycle of the UX process, and guide interaction designers through the iterative cycle of prototyping and delivery.
You will champion the impact of a customer-centric approach to business strategy and shape the design group's processes, tools, and assets based on a wide range of experience and perspectives.
The Senior UX Designer plays a key role in creating interaction models, validating UX recommendations, and developing prototypes that can be tested online or face-to-face with users and prospects.
You will be a key contributor to the design team, analyzing design assumptions and features and validating design recommendations.
Responsibilities:
Plan, participate in, and independently complete design activities across the product and service lifecycle, from building understanding and empathy to ideation and product definition
Provide overall strategy and tactics for user experience by analyzing business objectives and user needs, as well as developing, communicating, and implementing business strategies and practices while driving continuous improvement of the user experience.
Collaborate with product managers, engineering, and other functions to define product strategy and advocate for the user experience of our products.
Draw from the full range of design disciplines including interaction design, user experience design, information architecture, content design, and design strategy to improve the end-to-end user experience.
Collaborate with partners/stakeholders to ask questions, uncover insights, develop effective strategies, articulate a strong experience-centric vision, and translate concepts into prototypes.
Act as an advocate for the user, working closely with the business to balance business goals and user satisfaction.
Participate in and plan learning efforts to validate design assumptions and gather user feedback to improve the user experience.
Requirements
5+ years of experience working in UX experience working on mobile
Proven track record of working within a product team to ship successful products to users
Highly proficient with design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc)
Ability to think big and understand complex feature sets, shaping design for multi-disciplinary projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Portfolio of UX-focused work samples for web and mobile applications
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, HCI, or equivalent practical experience
