Description
The client faces the challenge of overhauling the operating model for 88 existing and all future stores. With a workforce of 4,200 employees affected by the transformation, the goal is to increase efficiency and productivity to achieve a significant EBIT impact. The project aims to establish a modern and efficient retail operating model. Redesigning the model involves implementing new processes and applying innovations in employee management to ensure a healthy workload while maximizing efficiency.
- Your main task is to orchestrate the project from a change management perspective, guide the organization through the transition, and prepare employees for the upcoming changes.
- Train and inspire the execution teams to implement the changes and drive adoption.
- You play a key role in monitoring process efficiency and deploying optimization tools.
- Develop strategy, design concepts, and analyses to secure the long-term sustainability of the new operating model and foster continuous improvement.
- Regularly engage with stakeholders to ensure support and identify resistance early.
- Continuously analyze, review, and adjust risk management and its strategies.
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration, psychology, organizational development, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in change management and designing operating models, preferably on large, high-risk projects affecting thousands of people.
- Proven experience in the retail sector and a solid understanding of the retail business.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Experience using diagnostic tools and efficiency improvement measures.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex issues clearly and engage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience handling cultural and local differences with the ability to promote diversity and inclusion.
