The project with our client from the telecommunications sector in the area of Tech Networks aims to optimize processes, collaboration, and results to increase efficiency, performance, and transparency. The focus is on supporting the program sponsor, structuring initiatives, and organizing a program structure that leverages synergies between initiatives and minimizes risks. Collaboration between planners, general contractors (GCs), and partners is improved through the Collaboration Boost, while strategies are developed to make external companies quickly operational. Technical tasks include optimizing radio rollouts, contract management, installation acceptance and acceptance testing, and accelerating rollout times and connection tests.
- Taking on project management tasks for the efficient planning, control, and tracking of project activities using tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and JIRA
- Developing governance models and KPIs to improve rollout management and control
- Creating dashboards and reports with PowerBI and Excel for real-time transparency and decision making, as well as developing and implementing a governance structure
- Creating transparent documentation of all processes, guidelines, and decisions, including introducing standardized templates and workflows via Confluence or SharePoint
- Analyzing and optimizing existing processes to increase efficiency and quality in project execution, and developing cost-optimization measures for collaboration with GCs, supported by tools like SAP and Excel dashboards
- Managing rollout measures with a focus on quality standards and adherence to schedule and budget, using Jira to control and coordinate alignment between project stakeholders
- Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to reduce manual effort, e.g., through the use of Power Automate, RPA tools, and Python scripts, as well as optimizing workflows with existing tools and developing new tool solutions if needed
