Our project for our client in the telecommunications industry in the Tech Networks area aims to optimize processes, collaboration and outcomes to increase efficiency, performance and transparency. The focus is on supporting the program sponsor, structuring initiatives and organizing a program structure that leverages synergies between initiatives and minimizes risks. Collaboration between planners, general contractors (GCs) and partners is enhanced through the Collaboration Boost, while strategies are developed to onboard third-party companies more quickly. Technical tasks include optimizing radio rollouts, contract management, installation acceptance and acceptance testing, and accelerating rollout times and connectivity tests.
- Taking on project management tasks for efficient planning, control and tracking of project activities using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and JIRA
- Developing governance models and KPIs to improve rollout control and oversight
- Creating dashboards and reports with Power BI and Excel for real-time transparency and decision support, as well as developing and implementing a governance structure
- Establishing transparent documentation of all processes, guidelines and decisions, including the introduction of standardized templates and workflows via Confluence or SharePoint
- Analyzing and optimizing existing processes to increase efficiency and quality in project execution, and developing cost-optimization measures for collaboration with GCs, supported by tools such as SAP and Excel dashboards
- Managing rollout activities with a focus on quality standards and adherence to time and cost schedules using JIRA to steer and coordinate alignment among project stakeholders
- Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to reduce manual efforts, e.g. through the use of Power Automate, RPA tools and Python scripts, as well as optimizing workflows using existing tools and developing new tool solutions as needed
