You are responsible for the development of image processing systems (2D and 3D) in special purpose machinery.
You develop concepts and algorithms for image processing tasks and document them as a basis for creating application programs.
Your tasks also include designing optical measurement methods based on individual components (e.g. camera, lighting, optics, profilometer, interferometer) and defining tools (hardware and software) for calibrating and validating image processing systems.
You commission the integrated image processing systems in complex automation solutions, analyze measurement data and systematic errors.
Finally, you support other departments across projects and project phases on all aspects of image processing.
Requirements
You have completed a degree in technical computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or computer vision, or you finished vocational training with further qualification as a technician/master in automation technology with relevant professional experience.
You also bring professional experience in image processing (Keyence, Cognex, Halcon or similar) and knowledge of machine and/or special purpose machinery.
As a true team player, you shine with your own initiative and motivation to continuously improve processes.
You excite us with your affinity for technically complex tasks and your ability to work in a dynamic environment.
