The client company from the telecommunications industry requires support within a logistics transformation project. The goal of the project is the migration of the logistics functions to a new system (cloud-based S4/HANA SAP solution) and thus the replacement of several legacy systems.
Tasks:
- Consulting the business department on aspects of planning, implementation, and definition of acceptance criteria.
- Development of concepts and creation of test planning for component tests (CT), system integration tests (SAT), and user acceptance tests (UAT) according to the SAP/S4HANA phase approach: Plan, Build & Deploy, as well as post-Go-Live support throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Definition and documentation of test cases based on the client's logistics process landscape in Jira & Confluence.
- Leading defect resolution calls with an end-to-end understanding of the IT environment and processes to identify and resolve design and requirement deficiencies, as well as organizing triage calls for problem-solving.
- Reporting on test status, escalations, risks, and quality aspects.
- Planning and tracking change requests, including requirements and process engineering based on the SAP S4HANA logistics platform.
- Analysis of performance optimization opportunities and creation of corresponding test concepts.
- Conducting risk assessments and defining mitigation measures based on the SAP S4HANA functionalities.
- Proactive management of the post-Go-Live phase and conducting retrospectives to capture insights and improve future project implementations during the hypercare phase.
- Optimization of working methods in an Agile project setup.
