Description
Management and development of the existing finance team.
Production and ownership of internal accounting policy and associated accounting papers.
Development and maintenance of financial control and risk procedures, ensuring they are current, relevant, and aligned with best practice.
Supervising production of management accounts and financial statements.
Provision and development of highly accurate financial management information and analysis to the CEO and wider management.
Responsibility for management of the annual audit process.
Supporting the finance team with management of the business model, cash flow forecasting, and other financial and economic modelling.
Partnering closely with key stakeholders across the business to turn model outputs from the abstract into tangible information and data to drive decision making as well as operational performance and efficiency.
Supporting the CEO in assessing new product and business opportunities.
Requirements
A strong finance, analytic and accounting background.
Experience of working in consumer industries preferred.
Ability to communicate financial matters (budget, operating performance, cash flows, etc.) in a clear and concise manner to senior management and other stakeholders.
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading and developing teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and across all areas of the business.
Desire to work in a fast paced environment where context can alter quickly.
Resilience in the face of changing priorities and operating context.
