A company is looking for an experienced structural monitoring expert to ensure the safety of dams and verify the quality of measurement data. The goal of the project is to optimize structural monitoring through professional data analysis, supplier coordination, and staff training.
The expert will play a key role in reviewing and maintaining measurement data as well as coordinating ad-hoc inspections and control checks. They will also be responsible for expanding the monitoring network and optimizing existing tools.
Main tasks:
- Professional review of structural monitoring measurement data (data quality, completeness, outliers)
- Initiation and execution of ad-hoc inspections/control checks for unusual measurements
- Coordination of external suppliers for the replacement of defective or outdated level probes
- Checking individual maintenance intervals for measuring equipment/systems and reporting results to the client
- Coordinating suppliers to expand the monitoring network by equipping it with electric probes
- Maintenance of measurement and control programs regarding metering technology and inspection cycles
- Providing necessary SAS structural information for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintenance and optimization of existing tools (Webviewer, DamCo, WISKI database)
- Planning and conducting about 10 online trainings on the tools
- Professional consulting for special inspections of individual structures
