Description
Advising on setting up a new market data department within a large bank to manage market data-related costs and support market data procurement - Supporting the business analysis and documentation of current processes for using market data in the capital markets area, risk management and treasury - Analyzing existing procurement processes around market data, as well as processes for ordering market data and controlling market data usage - Supporting the implementation of a software solution for monitoring market data costs and usage (e.g., Infomatch, etc.) - Assisting in gathering IT systems that use market data and creating a market data architecture (both business and technical), as well as preparing and conducting workshops and client meetings - Coordinating client and consultant teams to document market data processes - Conducting and documenting client interviews to capture market data usage
Requirements
Experience with market data and its usage in a bank (e.g., ratings, rating services, terminals, indices, price data (real-time and snapshot), internal vs. external contribution, etc.) - Experience in analyzing and optimizing market data usage - Experience with market data processes & governance - Experience with banking processes around market data usage (e.g., trading, treasury, risk management, middle & back-office processes, regulatory reporting, etc.) - Experience with market data providers such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet, Deutsche Börse, SIX, Infront, etc. - Good knowledge of MS Office products - Industry knowledge: Banking & Capital Markets - Excellent German language skills
